PhilosophyStoicism
Stoicism is an ancient Greek philosophy, later popular in Rome, that teaches how to live well by focusing on what we can control—our own judgments and actions—while accepting what we cannot control, like external events or other people's behavior. Its core idea is that peace of mind comes not from changing the world but from changing how we react to it, using reason to guide our responses rather than being ruled by unchecked emotions. Stoics believed that living virtuously, in harmony with nature and reason, is the key to genuine happiness.
